Frankly, we are not sure why and this move could be interpreted several different ways, but Abercrombie & Kent Destination Clubs have now been renamed Tannner & Haley Destination Clubs. It appears that Ron McGrath has ended his licensing arrangement with A&K and has struck out on his own with a new name, a new addition to the portfolio (Legendary Retreats) and even a new business – Tanner & Haley Jets.
We hope to hear from Ron directly as to his plans for the company, and we will review Legendary Retreats in our guide, due out next month.
But we still notice a lot of references to A&K on the new T&H website—looks like a brand hedge?
