180 questions. We hope that each club will answer every question, but expect that some will not. They should. For the consumer this is typically a $100,000 to $500,000 decision! Sure most of that is refundable, BUT only if the club is viable and has new members that want to join. And the reality is that once you join, you want to use the homes for years to come and not worry about getting your money back out.

So we think that transparency is one key criteria for evaluating these clubs – are they open enough about their business and operations that you can feel comfortable making that kind of investment in them?

Some of the questons that you might forget to ask, that we are going to get answers to:

-what % of the membership fees are going to real estate acquisition, rather than operations and sales of the club?
-do the stereos have iPod connectors?
-are there any penalties if I cancel a home reservation at the last minute?
-what age do my kids have to be for them to be able to stay at the homes without their parents?
-what real estate development experience does the management team of the club have?
