Italy is one of the most desired locations among destination club members, and clubs have responded accordingly. At last count, the various clubs had a total of 20 homes in the Mediterranean mainstay, with the greatest concentration of properties in Tuscany. It’s no surprise, then, that Quintess, LRW has just added a second home to its list of properties in this bucolic paradise.

Villa Tavernaccia is a seven-bedroom villa set on 23 acres of vineyards, olive groves and woodlands and surrounded by a 1,200-acre estate. Members staying at the mammoth property certainly won’t want for privacy, nor does it appear they will suffer from any lack of decadence. The 7,500 square foot villa, located about 20 minutes outside of Florence, offers more than pastoral views; a swimming pool and a private theater were both part of a 1960s renovation to the property, which reportedly attracted royalty, sports icons and pop idols to its halls.

In an effort to ensure that all members will have a crack at landing time at the new property, Quintess will be running a reservation lottery for dates at the Villa Tavernaccia through June 6, 2008. Member stays at the home will begin on July 10.
