Guy Kawasaki: Private Aviation Evangelist?

courtesy blog.guykawasaki.com Could blogger and Mac evangelist Guy Kawasaki be turning his proselytizing efforts to the world of private aviation?

Kawasaki has a nice post on his blog “How to Change the World”, with photos detailing a recent trip he made from San Francisco to Las Vegas. The post does a good job of making the case for the benefits of flying privately.

We see everything from the ample parking and crowd free check-in afforded at FBOs, the clean lines and smooth ride of the Piaggio P. 180 he flew on (check out Guy working on the MacBook Air of course- get it? Macbook Air? Private plane- air…anyone?), and he even gets a nice shot of the assortment of snacks and other goodies stocked on the plane.

The Real MacBook AirKawasaki says that he only chose to blog about the trip because “this never happens to me.” Now Guy, do you really mean to tell us that your old buddy Steve Jobs never gave you a ride on his Gulfstream?

When we wrote an article about our fantasy Apple iJet Kawasaki was kind enough to give his opinion of what an actual Apple jet would be like:

If Apple made a jet, it would only be able to fly 250 miles, but it would be the coolest one in the sky. And it would take special gas that Tibetan monks dig up with their barehands.

Now that Guy has apparently been bitten by the private aviation bug, maybe he can start pressuring his Apple buddies to make it a reality!
