Sotheby’s and Marquis Jet recently announced a program that provides existing Sotheby clients a $5,000 credit at Sotheby’s with the purchase of their first Marquis Jet card. You may also redirect the $5,000 benefit as a cash contribution to a charity of your choice. Special joint events are promised for clients of both firms.
This adds Sotheby’s to Marquis Jet’s already impressive list of marketing partners. Helium Report typically guides prospective clients toward more substantive criteria in making your jet travel decision. Benefits such as these rarely impact the underlying economics of private aviation. Nonetheless, these affinity programs are worth perusing before making your decision. Some noteworthy programs include Marquis Jet’s relationship with Merrill Lynch, which allows Merrill Lynch customers a one-time test-ride trip to experience Marquis Jet. Delta AirElite’s partnership with Delta can be especially attractive if you anticipate frequent commercial travel along Delta’s routes.
We’ll periodically offer a full rundown of affinity programs. Here’s a snapshot of Marquis Jet’s lineup. If you’re a Marquis Jet client, let us know how these have performed. Email us at jets@heliumreport.com.
