Delta AirElite and Flight Options have nearly identical cutoffs for Thankgiving travel (see chart, below). Both companies require 5-days advanced booking for high-demand/peak days, making the travel cutoff November 16th for travel on Tuesday, November 21.

Delta AirElite’s Fleet Membership can be booked 12-hours in advance on non-peak days whereas Flight Options’ JetPASS Ultimate Travel program can be booked 24-hours in advance. Another minor difference is the 16th and 17th are designated as high demand/peak days for JetPASS Ultimate Travel.

Marquis Jet’s cutoff was September 30th for Thankgiving travel, which we reported last week.

These fractional card and membership programs are one of the simplest ways to start flying privately. They are easy to sign up, easy to use, easy to renew, and easy to exit. The pre-paid block of time is typically for a specific jet, although Flight Options’ debit model allows you to select different aircraft for different flights without interchange fees.
