Anthony Effinger reported today on Bloomberg.com that Tim Blixseth, billionaire and founder of the Yellowstone World Club, has gotten into a legal battle with one of his original investors, former Tour de France winner, Greg LeMonde. It appears that the lawsuits are unrelated to the club’s operations or ability to attract new members. It looks more like two guys fighting over how much of the pie they should get.
Still, the Yellowstone Club and the industry in general, probably don’t need the word ‘lawsuit’ associated with destination clubs any more than necessary – especially in light of the Tanner and Haley bankruptcy (and lawsuits that will likely follow). Read More here.
