Cabo San Lucas is popular for some obvious reasons: the climate lends itself to a long vacation season – it’s nice 10 months out of the year, and there are many direct flights to Cabo from both the west and east coasts. Also, real estate values still look reasonable, so destination clubs can purchase a luxury home for less than $3 million. Locations such as Maui or Kauai may offer the first two benefits of great climate and direct flights but property costs in Hawaii have gone crazy.
