The only destination club that had a strong international focus was Leading Residences of the World and they have stopped accepting new members. But now a new club based in Asia seems to be stepping into that opportunity – Banyan Tree Private Collection.

The new luxury club, launched by upscale resort developer Banyan Tree Resorts, is offering a membership plan that costs $120,000 to buy into and $3,000 per year for dues. You get seven days per year in one of their two bedroom villas. The club hopes to open up to 20 destinations and has 14 currently under develoment, some of which appear to be villas that are currently located at Banyan Tree Resort properties.

From what we know so far, it looks like this club has been designed to appeal to loyal resort guests that want access to larger rooms – hence the two bedroom villas. We will try to find out more – meanwhile you can check out their website.
