A few of the top tier destination clubs in the industry have formed alliances with private jet operators to better serve the needs of their clientele. Providing special pricing on private air travel is a logical next step for ultra luxe clubs that already offer maid service, grocery shopping and full time concierge assistance. Many members of Exclusive Resorts and Solstice Collection already fly privately so the clubs want to integrate this part of the experience into their total vacation package.

• Exclusive Resorts has a strategic partnership with Marquis Jet that allows members to book charter flights as needed without purchasing a jet card. Exclusive Resorts members will also enjoy a $5,000 discount on their chartered flights.
• Solstice Collection, which recently merged with Parallel, created an air travel program and aligned with Sentient Jet Membership. Solstice offers their members “gold access” to Sentient, which means they pay only flight fees and avoid the $100,000 deposit.
• According to a spokesperson for the club, Quintess is currently in discussions with Sentient Jet Membership and hopes to work out a pricing deal for their members as well.

Exclusive Resorts and Solstice are leveraging private air partnerships to distinguish themselves from the rest of the destination clubs. Solstice wants to better define their status as an “ultra-luxury” club – a step above the other choices. The move is logical for Solstice since many of their prospective members are in the private jet demographic as well.

On the other hand, destination club members are not necessarily jet users – they can afford a club membership but still fly commercially. If you fly privately, it’s a nice benefit – if you don’t, the offer should not make or break your decision to join Exclusive Resorts or Solstice.
