Reportedly the first of its kind, Exclusive Resorts just opened a $75 million, members-only resort at Peninsula Papagayo, a 2,300 acre residential resort community on the north Pacific coast of Costa Rica. Called Poro Poro, the development has 21 luxury residences, each averaging 4,000 sq. ft. and a 20,000 sq. ft. member club house. Ten of the glass-front homes in the Poro Poro development are available to the club’s 2,500 members this month, with the remaining scheduled to open later this summer.

Poro Poro’s 20,000 sq. ft. member club house features casual grill dining by a French-trained chef, adult’s and children’s pools, a game room, a fitness facility, and a member’s lounge. The club house’s expansive decks provide an ideal spot for Exclusive Resorts members to relax and soak up the dramatic scenery and refreshing ocean breezes.
