Yacht Share, a fractional and yacht share membership club, recently announced its merger with Voyage Charters. The merged company – called Voyage Yacht Share – has exclusive rights with Stealth Yachts and Voyage Yachts. Yacht Share founder, Bob Kyle, told Helium Report that Voyage Yacht Share members have “direct channels with these manufacturers for maintenance and design input.”

“Our merger with Voyage Charters is another tremendous leap forward for our company as we have now become the only fractional/yacht sharing club with world-wide locations,” said Kyle. “Before the merger, we had home-ports in Annapolis, Miami, and the Bahamas. Now we immediately have added some of the the most sought after yachting destinations in the world including the BVIs [British Virgin Islands], The Caribbean, and Spain. When a member joins our program now, [they] get access to our fleet of yachts world wide.”

The Numbers

Ownership cost is $1.48 million for individual investors. Fractional membership is $224,000 and $2,200 in monthly fees for five years. Yacht share is $50,000 and $2,000 per month for one year. Benefits include 28 days of yacht usage.

New Developments

Voyage Yacht Share debuted the Stealth 540 motor yacht at the Miami International Boat Show earlier this month, and simultaneously released a limited number of shares – both membership and fractional – of the Stealth 540.

The Stealth 540 is a Hydrofoil Supported Catamaran (HYSUCAT) matched with the latest 800hp MAN common rail engines. Combined with the Q-Speed surface drives, the yacht has a top speed of 55 mph and easily cruises at 45 mph. It has has many of the amenities of a much larger yacht, including three full heads, and three staterooms, including a master with a king size bed. The yacht also comes with Moritz Aerospace Octoplex power management and the AC and DC power functions centrally controlled via a LCD touch screen.

Additionally over the next twelve months, Voyage Yacht share will be “aggressively adding to [their] existing infrastructure” and “seeking more locations,” said Kyle.
