Meriwether Ranch, the self-defined Nation’s First Private Residence Club for the Outdoorsman, announced this week that reservations for 20 fractional shares of Meriwether Ranch residences have been placed. Worth approximately $5 million, those reservations represent about 10 percent of Meriwether Ranch’s projected revenue at sell out.
“We’re off to a great start with these reservations,” said David Ellingson, owner and developer of Meriwether Ranch. “This early interest confirms that Meriwether Ranch’s unique offerings strike a chord with those interested in owning a comfortably-appointed vacation home with world class outdoor recreation opportunities, but would rather avoid the expenses and responsibilities typically associated with second home ownership.”
Construction is underway on three of Meriwether Ranch’s fractional residences along western Montana’s famed Big Hole River. Construction crews are expected to complete two of the Riverfront Residences and one of the Sportsman’s Residences by July.
The unique themed approach of this development is proving compelling – or maybe it’s the luxury residence club’s unique location. Meriwether Ranch does not have many private residence club competitors in Montana. The project’s main amenities may be its options for outdoor activities, including fly-fishing on the Big Hole and other nearby rivers, and bird and big-game hunting in the surrounding area.
