Overview

Private residence club: The Weybridge CollectionThe Weybridge Collection is a new equity-based collection of luxury fractional residences. The Founder and President, Robert H. Glaze, does not like to call his collection a “club.” He likes, rather, to see his venture as a true second home experience with each home having cultural and artistic experiences associated with it. Currently available for fractional ownership is Casa Las Artes in Tesuque, New Mexico, where $465,000 buys you a one-fifth share of the property. Available for exchange are three Villas in San Miguel del Allende. As of this publication date, homes under further consideration are in Napa Valley, Chicago, Umbria, Italy and Bilbao, Spain. In all of these areas, the Weybridge Collection’s experiential component involves excursions to homes of regional artists, access to local private collections, discovery of the best region’s cuisine and personally meeting others who create the distinct cultural expressions of the areas.

Location

Private residence club - Casa Las ArtesCasa Las Artes is a 6,000 square-foot home with five bedrooms and five and a half baths. Located in Tesuque, New Mexico, the home rests under 200 year-old Cottonwood trees and is ten minutes from Santa Fe’s downtown plaza.

The homes for exchange, located in San Miguel de Allende, MX, are Villa Puerta del Sol, Casa El Quijote and Casa Buena Fortuna. All the homes there range between 3,000 and 7,200 square feet. San Miguel del Allende, an old Spanish colonial city founded in 1542, lies in the eastern part of the state of Guanajuato, Mexico, about four hours north of Mexico City. The San Miguel homes are located just north and south of Parque Juarez. They are all a short walk to the main square or Jardin.

How It Looks

In Casa Las Artes, and in the homes for exchange mentioned above, there are original art collections including works by of famous Native American and Mexican artists and folk artists, including Nocona Burgess, Anthony Chee-Emerson, John Nieto, Hilario Alejo-Madrigal, Neftali Ayunga Suarez and Irma Garcia-Blanco. There is Mata Ortiz pottery, and folk art and textiles from Peru, Guatamala and Mexico.

Private residence club - Casa Buena FortunaThe San Miguel residences reflect the Spanish Colonial feel of the city. They are painted in warm earth tones, have Mexican tiled floors and baths, have gardens with jasmine and bougainvillea and have outdoor salas or living rooms. There are state-of-the-art kitchens coupled with old wood carved doors, stone fountains, and brick boveda ceilings. The residences also contain carved and handcrafted furniture and beds made by local artisans.

The Santa Fe home is located in the village of Tesuque a short drive from the Plaza in downtown Santa Fe. It is in the Santa Fe adobe style with many outdoor portals or patios. Brick floors and warm wall colors enhance the art collection in the home. In addition, there are multiple fireplaces, beamed ceilings and an outdoor patio with fireplace for the brisk nights at 7,200 feet above sea level.

In Brief

The interiors of these homes and their locales – in Tesuque, New Mexico, San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico – all reflect the diverse cultures from which these residences grew. Glaze wants to collect artistically and culturally relevant homes in the same way he collects his fine art, with a sense of legacy.

Fractional Ownership Private Residence Club Weybridge Collection Villa Puerto Del SolThe Weybridge Collection is a themed and equity-based private residence fractional ownership collection. Glaze’s collection is the only private residence club thus far that has an artistic and cultural connection, as well as experiential offerings that reflect this theme. Other themed fractionals focus on golf, wine/food, equestrian/polo, and the great outdoors. The themed fractionals have been growing in popularity as they are a product of the focused passions of the developer.
