Destination clubs could very well be gearing up for the increased demands of holiday traffic, following a string of new property announcements. High Country Club is the most recent club to announce new properties, with four homes added in Puerto Vallarta, Punta Mita, Costa Rica, and Outer Banks (North Carolina).

The new 2,166 square-foot two-bedroom three-bath home in Puerto Vallarta is smaller than Exclusive Resorts’ nearby 20 residences, but it’s closer to the downtown area.

The High Country Club home in Punta Mita is a larger four-bedroom, four-and-a-half bath home just 40 miles northwest of Puerto Vallarta, and scheduled to be ready by October 20th. Both Private Escapes Premiere and Crescendo also have properties in Punta Mita. And if fractional ownership in a luxury private residence club is more your cup of tea, the Four Seasons Residence Club offers villas that range from 2,800 to 4,300 square-feet, too.

High Country Club’s Costa Rican residence is just under 2,000 square feet, and expected to be ready in November of this year. Quintess and Exclusive Resorts both have properties in Costa Rica, and former AOL exec, Steve Case, announced an $800 million eco-friendly luxury resort to be built there.

The largest High Country Club residence announced – in Outer Banks – is a 4,500 square-foot five-bedroom home in the gated Currituck Club. Additional destination club homes in Outer Banks are available from Private Escapes.

High Country Club has an additional home under contract in Tahoe, which the club expects to be ready before the year’s end. Thirty-three homes in 28 destinations will be available to the club’s 270+ members.

Solstice and LUSSO announce new luxury homes

In other goings-on, the ultra-luxury destination club, Solstice, just unveiled three new properties in Cabo San Lucas and New York’s West Village. A similar boutique destination club, the LUSSO Collection, announced a new Aspen home.
