Destination club Distinctive Holiday Homes announced a partnership that gets its members access to private jet charter flights. The move follows other destination clubs, including Exclusive Resorts and Private Escapes, that offer private jet travel services to members.
Distinctive Holiday Homes, which has a network of nine properties and a yacht, partnered with charter service provider Bombardier Skyjet International. Club members can book a flight and secure a special member rate, paying just the one-way fare and not any repositioning fees that can add to the cost of a trip. The flights are booked directly through Distinctive Holiday Homes and can be secured with as little as eight hours notice.
Distinctive Holiday Homes has properties in the U.S., Europe, and the Pacific plus a 53-foot sailing yacht. The club also plans to roll out homes in London and St. Tropez among other global locations. While a transatlantic flight may prove cost prohibitive, the private flights option can be used for, say, shorter hops in Europe.
The club’s six membership levels range from the Lite Membership, which runs $50,000 with a $7,000 annual fee, to the high-end Platinum and Corporate plans, each $250,000 and $35,000 per year. Included vacation days start at seven and increase a week at a time by membership level up to a total of 35 days. The club also has a trial membership available, a notable offering among destination clubs which often don’t have a way for potential new members to give the club a test run. The trial plan is $1,000 a night and can be booked for anywhere from two to seven nights.
