As a family of five, since joining ER we have switched most of our vacations to using club homes, and now rarely stay in resorts. All the homes we have stayed in are very luxurious, maid service good, and concierge always helpful. Their online reservation system is also very well done – as good as any hotel site, with lots of home pictures, floorplans and maps.

Obviously we don’t always get the home or location when we want, but being flexible and planning ahead, we have been mostly satisfied with availability – and its gotten much better in the past year.

We would like to see more homes on the west coast. We also have unused days at the end of each year, and don’t like the rule that you have to pay $2000 to be able to transfer those days to someone else.

Otherwise, we love the fact that we can all stay together in a home, rather than hotel rooms. We have stayed in homes in Mexico, Hawaii, Tahoe, Telluride and all were great.
