I stayed w/ my wife, four kids and au pair at Kona. The house was an attached 3-story, 3-BR condo with a wonderful balcony BBQ and dining area. All appliances and AV gear were top-notch. While it wasn’t one of the fabulous glam-homes in the coffee-table book, it was everything we needed and then some. We especially appreciated the GEM electric car for getting around to the three beach clubs that ER provided. The bumpiest part was the pre-trip planning—because we were guests rather than full members, a few things got lost when related from the ER rep through our hosts. I’ve been told by the host family that ER has ironed this problem out.

We enjoyed the week, and were impressed by the ease and amenities of the ER setup. We expect to sign up to a club in the next year or so and ER’s on the short list.
