My wife and I are now coming close to our one year anniversary as members of the High Country Club and we have been very impressed with the club, its properties, and its staff. High Country Club has found a great niche in the destination club market – a lower priced entry point and properties that are around $750K to $1M. We do not need daily maid service, or some of the other amenities offered by the higher priced clubs. We want a nice, clean place to stay in some great and varied locations and the High Country Club has more than fulfilled our needs.

So far, I spent a great golfing week with some buddies in La Quinta, CA at PGA West in a beautiful home with its own pool and spa, the family went to Hawaii and stayed in a nice three bedroom townhome in Waikoloa Beach Resort, we took the kids skiing to Keystone, CO for a week and were able to walk to the lift, and my wife just took her sister to NYC for a surprise birthday present and had a great time staying right in Times Square. By the way, Member Services was great and made my wife’s stay in NYC extra special with some advance planning.

We have several upcoming trips planned to Cabo San Lucas, La Costa, CA, and we gifted a family pass to my brother and sister-in-law for their anniversary for a week in Tuscany. The High Country Club has several other new properties in the works to add to an already varied collection of destinations.

For anyone who doesn’t need to be waited on and treated like royalty, but wants the opportunity to vacation in a number of different places, knowing that the residences are just like many second homes that the majority of us were thinking of buying, then the High Country Club has what you want. If you want something special for your stay, just ask and they will make it happen. We did, and we are looking forward to many years as High Country Club members.
