CABO

We stayed at two phenomenal homes: one of the Casitas, which we loved because of the resort access and ease; and Casa Arrefices, which was a Rock Star home on a more secluded beach. We took three other couples and had a fantastic time. The whole experience was absolutely terrific. It is an easy, two-and-a-half-hour flight from Denver to Cabo and the weather was just right; we had eight days of 92 degree weather with a perfect breeze the whole time.

What I love about Quintess, LRW versus a high-end hotel is the feeling that the entire home is yours…you feel like you have ownership and can just do whatever you want, which is especially nice when you’re entertaining. We had a number of other friends staying at a nearby property and hosted a party at the house. We had a catered, five-star lunch with drinks and more, but the best thing was that all the heavy lifting and hard work was done for us. The only thing my wife and I had to do as hosts was make sure all our guests were enjoying themselves and lounge by the pool.

In the past, I thought a destination club was an expensive way to travel, but after going through the experience just once, you see that you would never get the same value at a hotel, even a high-end one. Plus, it is easier than attempting to buy a home in Cabo. I love the uniqueness with Quintess, LRW of going to one location and staying in two different homes; it makes the experience continually fresh.

Our Destination Hosts were great. They checked in on us to see if we needed anything, changed restaurant reservations and booked activities for us. The first full day we were there four masseuses came over and all the women received river rock massages and pedicures. My brother-in-law went swimming with dolphins, which is one of his lifetime goals that he can now cross off his list. All of our friends knew each other before the trip, but traveling like this is such a great bonding experience. One friend said this was the first vacation he’d been on that he didn’t want to leave. They all felt this was a once-in-a-lifetime trip.

ASPEN

Last year we went to Red Mountain for five days with our children and another couple with their children, all between four and eight years old. There was plenty of space for everyone and the kids absolutely loved the media room. We would go out and buy dinner each night to bring back to the house, just because the views and the home are both so beautiful.
