“Everything was super on our Amelia Island trip. Our home, The Dunes, worked well for our divergent demographics. John and our brother-in-law, Stuart, had a fantastic day playing golf. The tennis facility at The Amelia Island Plantation is wonderful. They have 12 clay courts and a stadium court; all perfectly maintained. The shop is stocked with great stuff, the staff is helpful and the pros were gracious as well. The Amelia Island Plantation hosts a small WTA tournament in April, the week after the Family Circle tournament in Charleston (mid-April).

We cooked simple food at home four out of seven nights, which we feel is really the best way to go when you are with large family groups. The nearby grocery store, Harris Tweeter, has wonderful seafood, great produce and meat on par with the specialty stores back in Dallas. The kitchen is stocked with every element necessary to cook and the grill outside works perfectly. Though I will say, the dinner we had at Salt (the restaurant at The Ritz-Carlton) was excellent; really awesome.

Our Hostess did a great job, and the housekeeping staff were very pleasant and did a good job keeping things tidy and sand free. The home is well maintained and spotless. We had our very active three-year-old nephew there for three days and there are beach chairs, umbrellas and all the digging stuff a kid could want; perfect for the short walk to the shore.

All in all we had a memorable experience and I look forward to enjoying more Quintess properties.” Member Leah Davis, Dallas, Texas
