I recently visited Bald Head Island, and have been a long time fanof the island and how they developed it. The Hammocks are nice, but I found another Fractional Ownership development on the island. Located in the Harbour Village, The Marsh Harbour Inn & Suites are offering oceanview, waterfront condo-like suites starting at $39,000. There are large penthouse suites with private balconies on the 3rd floor, priced at $89,000. What a great deal! Its nearly half the price and it has tremendous sunset views over the Inlet, Ocean and BHI Creek. It looks like they are continuing as a B&B as well, so you can receive income on your investment and make it cash flow. They are evolving it into a Five Star Hotel with concierge, inn-keeper, breakfast, in-home chef, culinary grads, etc…You should check into this and see this fractional ownership as well, if you are considering investing on the island.
