It was through diligent research and a long list of requirements that we found Lusso. Less than a year ago, we joined the largest residence club, after seeing many advertisements and hearing about it for a couple of years – we thought bigger was better. However, it wasn’t long afterward that we discovered the size was not always an advantage in the destination club scenario. After much thought, and a willingness to take the hit, we resigned from that club, and joined Lusso – but only after talking to several current members and the CEO, Steve Greer. We couldn’t be more pleased with our decision!

The service that Lusso offers is outstanding… it is very simple to get in touch with someone, and to get a personal answer or advice on upcoming vacations. Concierge services are geared to our family, rather than being of the typical “cookie-cutter philosophy”, and they have been exceptional thus far! We have found that the club has certainly done its homework and has found a way to provide services that the other clubs lack – a personal touch. We are also glad that the club has a proposed member cap – there will never be a time it grows so large that it loses sight of individual member needs. At each location, we have access to a resident concierge to plan and provide a detailed itinerary for our vacation, as well as a concierge that can provide special services us even when we are not traveling with the club, should we wish. Outstanding service is always the primary focus, we have found.

With properties already in key locations and expansion already occurring, Lusso has and knows what it takes to please us as members. The homes are, needless to say, wonderful… professionally decorated, spacious and with amenities often overlooked by other clubs, and groceries are pre-stocked upon arrival. The convenience of having Callaway golf clubs or bikes at the home, rather than having to go to the trouble and expense of renting them, is a real plus, and makes settling in that much easier! And, what better than to have a luxury SUV at our disposal while in-residence, rather than having to rent a car – the club even provides our airport transfers! The one thing that we have found that Lusso does not do is “nickel and dime” us which used to happen while we were on vacation!

Everyone with Lusso has been open and accessible, all the way up to Steve Greer… and, they have always been available to answer whatever questions we have had. They truly mean, and stand behind, what they say: “it is all about you” – a rarity in today’s world. And, availability of the residences has not been an issue… we have already experienced, first-hand, the benefit of the low member-to-home ratio!

The choices are extensive when you research destination clubs, but, for us there was no better choice than Lusso… we only wish we had discovered its benefits last year, before falling for the bigger is better theory.
