I am approaching my first anniversary with Lusso and could not be more pleased with my decision. I really did a significant amount of due diligence work investigating not only Lusso, but other clubs, as well as sole ownership opportunities or partnerships with friends.

Discussions with members of some of the larger and aggressively marketed clubs lead to a quick conclusion that they were not for me. Availability complaints of the other clubs were unacceptable, but I looked deeper at their member calendars. I saw for myself how slim the opportunities to travel were given the lack of availability. It seemed liked you need to plan more than a year out to freely select your destinations, else you were stuck with the less than desirable destinations or times.

A year into Lusso, and I have hit six properties, some short notice travel and others long-term without problems. In fact, three weeks out from Presidents Day weekend and I can still decide if I want to travel…

While it seems all the clubs at Lusso’s price-point have stunning properties, a deeper comparison will show that they are not equal – although its funny that some of the club properties are neighbors. But, Lusso’s size has allowed it to select the choicest properties near the desired feature (beach, ski hill, etc.). When looking at other clubs’ ski properties, I got maps and found that the others are not all true ski-in/out, but instead required a walk or shuttle ride.

Lusso’s little things add up. Being directly on the ski hill meant my kids were sledding while we apres-skied. Other families in these multi-million dollar homes had to designate some tired dad to act as a watchdog, since they could not supervise from their patio or deck being that they were across the street or down the block. That was the Lusso difference. The included SUV and airport transfers may be overlooked when comparing the other clubs, but again the Lusso difference comes into play. The rent car hassle is completely eliminated. Factor in the cost of a low-mileage full-size 4×4 SUV for a long ski weekend, and the savings will clearly make the point.

The staff and management are so helpful, flexible and accommodating. Because of Lusso’s size, they know me when I call and they immediately take care of any issues. They set a fine example of serve the client.

My wife and I have owned mountain houses, ranches, and still have a lake house. Lusso is such a relief. They eliminate the maintenance, staffing, and upkeep hassles. Their solid financial position and trust-ownership of properties is reassuring. The 100% refundable initiation fee is money in the bank and the same time making such wonderful memories. Since traveling in Lusso style and enjoying the spaciousness of each property, there is no looking back.
