As North Carolina’s southernmost cape, Bald Head Island is a beach retreat unlike any other. Miles of unspoiled beaches, acres of maritime forest, and a vast expanse of marshes and creeks provide natural playgrounds. Because no bridge connects the island to the mainland, travel to the island is by passenger ferry or private yacht.
