We are hiring a senior level Director/VP of Marketing to own Helium Report’s consumer marketing strategy. You must be a world-class direct marketing expert and have experience with interactive ad agencies, email marketing programs, and search engine marketing to be considered for this role. Experience in a company with a recognized consumer brand is highly preferred.

Responsibilities
• Drive top-line revenue while constantly improving ROI
• P&L responsibility for multi-million dollar marketing budget
• Primary owner for agency relationships
• Recruit and manage marketing team
• Define and own customer acquisition and retention strategy
• Oversee brand positioning and consumer insights
• Combine analytical rigor and creative intuition to optimize direct response programs
• Partner with PR agency and executive team to develop a holistic marketing communications program

Requirements/Experience
You must have experience working in a senior marketing role at a top 1,000 website, Fortune 500 internet property, or leading online retailer.

• 10+ years of online direct marketing experience with one or more of the following metrics:
• Over $1 million in interactive media buys,
• More than 500,000 emails distributed each month, or
• Search marketing budget in excess of $250,000 annually
• Experience managing internal team and external agencies
• Must be intimately familiar with CPM, CPC, and CPA deals
• Experience with SEM, SEO, email, lead generation and traditional online media buying
• Strong leadership and management skills: create a vision, chart a path, and lead a team toward the goal
• Thrive in a startup environment
• BA/BS degree from a competitive institution; MBA highly preferred
